Hey everyone!!
So the latest back from dublin is very exciting... After having a little time to do some serious thinking about the EP and a very interesting talk with someone from a rather well respected record label i have made a decision... firstly i have decided i have far too many songs to fob you off with an EP so am going to make it into an album obviously thats going to take longer as christmas is fast approaching... So if you could just stay with me for a little longer the album release date is going to be saturday 6th march followed by a launch party on the13th at the guilbenkian theatre, canterbury followed by a uk tour in april through to june... the venues are now being booked and it's looking very good indeed....
Ok so maybe there is a hint of disappointment in the air from some of you? Well hopefully i can make it up by giving away a free track on itunes in december? as the EP was pretty much finished and i just got too worked up about the songs we were leaving off it... I feel it only fair to do something to keep you on my side and after all the presents you've given me its well overdue! so the song i'm going to release in dec is a special 7 min+ version of one of my total favourites from the EP (now ALBUM!) and i hope you love it as much as i do, you will rock out this christmas i promise!!! Then its just a couple of months till the album is released and we can all sing the songs together on tour!
Also for us all to look forward to are some BIG changes to the BMO website... These will be happening quite soon to go hand in hand with the re launch of ben mills... i really hope you like it and don't miss the green green green site too much!
X factor... can i really go on to talk about the x factor now? well i know you watch it cause thats how you know me!... watched it last night and saw a guy i used to know re auditioning for simon.... he didn't make it sadly and it must be extremely hard to have gone for it again after a few years and i remember just how amazingly painful the bootcamp stages were for me and vowing at the time i could never put myself through that again and believe me i won't!! (not when there's BGT!) but now think it's between the rocker and the essex girl.... i'll say no more of it....
Ok guys i hope this news has made you happy and excited... it will be a busy few months but i can't wait to get back on the road again with all my new songs....
i'll keep you posted and show as much footage of the recording as i can....
long live tom waits!!! (is he really in a film with Brad pitt and johnny depp??? Finally a film me and Mel can enjoy together!!!
