OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! What an absolutely incredibly outstandingly amazing gig! Definitely the BEST Simply Rod one yet...... and they did "Do Ya Think I'm Sexy"!!!!

Took loads of pics and will sort through them tomorrow. Ben told me I could have his set list at the end of the night so I didn't have to worry about writing all the songs down which took the pressure off a bit!!

Jeanette and i agree with everything you have said.......in fact Saara Jeanette says "AMEN!" she couldn't have put it better.....and i agree.
We are at the moment looking at the recording of the night and the sound isn't too bad at all........and Jeanette said the eye candy isn't too bad as well......especially with "those" trousers he had on.......And Ben singing "do you think i'm sexy" well i played that last night and i think i made Jeanette deaf due to my screaming. ......in fact Dave had gone to bed.......but not asleep thank goodness as he said he would have woken up with the noise i made........
Jeanette says it was nice to hear Ben singing something different....
The audience really enjoyed the evening and were singing along to Ben.......sing along to Ben sounds good.........Looking forward to your report Saara x

Glad the sound quality on your video came out ok, Jules. I played the recording of "Tonight's The Night" that I did and there's the same buzz on it that we got from the Kings Hall last year. Not quite as bad, but still noticeable.

The sound quality isn't as good as pizzaexpress Saara but i don't think its bad at all......i just hope i don't dissappoint anyone. I will try and start doing them tonight when Dave gets home as i still need help uploading them on to my new laptop by the memory card and trimming the recordings ect

sorry for double post but can't seem to be able to add to the other one, anyway I loved last night, I enjoyed and band doing some songs I hadn't heard them do before like Baby Jane, Do you think I am sexy, on a downtown train and get ready theres a train coming, was in top form, he seemed really in a good mood and I thought the band was brilliant, in fact I would say one of the best gigs I have been to, it was fun seeing doing Rod songs, I can't wait to hear him do a concert of all his own new songs, maybe next year we will get a real treat and see him on tour doing all his own stuff..can't wait for that
