Gig List Updates
We've recently added a number of events to the Gig List. There are several Apart From Rod gigs, including tonight's at the Robin 2 in Wolverhampton, and a few where Ben is teaming up once again with The Rhythm Cats, as well as a number of Benzego gigs.
Another to look out for is an acoustic night in the Music Room at Pizza Express in Maidstone on Friday 18th May, where Ben will share the stage with current lead singer of 10cc, Mick Wilson.

Gig Review: Apart From Rod At The Brook, Southampton

Concerts just don’t produce moments more spine-tingling than that sublime guitar solo in I Was Only Joking.
And it was musical bliss to have it delivered here by the guys that created it, Jim Cregan and Gary Grainger, members of the Rod Stewart band back in the days when every song was massive.

Where Ben's gigs are concerned, I consider myself lucky that I live in Kent as the majority of his gigs have always been down this way, meaning I've never had to worry too much if there were any I couldn't get to as there were always more to choose from. With some, however, I would move heaven and earth to make sure I don't miss them, and included in that list are all those in The Music Room.

Ben Mills Joins The Original Rod Stewart Band
We are pleased to announce that Ben has been asked by Jim Cregan, Gary Grainger & Robin Le Mesurier, guitarists from Rod Stewart's original band formed in 1975, to join their new band, Apart From Rod, as their lead vocalist.

Ben Mills Joins The Line-Up For Next Month's Maten Van Maas Festival In Holland
Ben Mills will be performing live at the Maten Van Maas Festival in Breda, Holland, which takes place on Saturday 22nd October.
The festival is in its 5th year, but only since this year have the organisers included international artists performing alongside Dutch ones. The last festival, held in April, included Spandau Ballet frontman Tony Hadley.

Ben Mills Lends His Support To Asda's "Everyman" Campaign
Adsa are launching a national campaign in association with "Everyman" and Asda Broadstairs has been chosen to host the event for Kent.
The event takes place at the Westwood Road store on Saturday 18th June and Ben is lending his support to help promote the cause. It starts at 10am and Ben will be there at around 1pm.
The day includes live music from rock band Screaming Cherry, other live performances and displays, face painting, raffles and a whole lot more....

A Single This Summer / A New Album Planned For December
We can now announce that Ben will be releasing a single this summer and, if all goes to plan, it will be followed by his 3rd album at the beginning of December.
There are no fixed release dates at this time, but we can confirm that the single will be available only as a digital download, with the album being sold both digitally and on CD.
Further updates on these releases will be published when we have them.

Ben Mills On KMFM Radio - 09/03/11
Ben is going be interviewed, via telephone, on the Ashford KMFM breakfast show between 9am and 10am on Wednesday 9th March to help promote the RSPCA Charity Gig at the Sinden Theatre later this month.

Simply Rod At Music On The Hill, Kings Hill
"Music On The Hill" is a three day event in aid of Demelza Hospice Care For Children & The Children's Development Trust.
Ben Mills has been a long term supporter of Demelza and has performed at many of their fundraising events.
In continuation of that support, Simply Rod will be performing live at the Music On The Hill festival on Sunday 26th June.

Gig Review: Ben Mills With Benzego At The Halling Fun Weekend 2010 - Saturday 31st July 2010
It was the end of July and the village of Halling in Kent was preparing for its annual Fun Weekend. On Saturday 31st they played host to a concert held in the Community Centre, headlined by Ben Mills with his band, Benzego. With the band booked some months in advance, enthusiasm was high by the time tickets went on sale and come the day the event was a sell out.

Gig Review: Ben Mills & Richard Rozze At Pizza Express, Maidstone - Friday 14th May 2010
Three years ago, almost to the day, I sat at a table in the Music Room at Pizza Express at my very first Ben Mills gig. The excitement as I waited for him to set foot on the stage was almost too much to bear and I can still feel the tingles and the butterflies as I listened to him perform live for the first time.

EchoFM DJ Claire Hine will be doing a telephone interview with Ben during her "Decade Show" on Wednesday 24th March. She should also be playing a track from the new album. Her show is on air between 1.30 and 4pm.
