BenMillsOnline's Special Presentation To Ben - 11th May 2007
After a fantastic evening of entertainment in the Music Room at PizzaExpress, Maidsone, Ben went downstairs for a public signing and we all made our way upstairs to the Corn Walliss room to ready ourselves for our private Meet & Greet. We were also joined by members of Ben's family who were there that evening.
When the public signing was over, Ben came up to join us and we got straight down to business. The main reason we were there was to present Ben with a 12" Gold Disc of his debut album, "Picture Of You". A gift which members of BenMillsOnline had donated to - despite not actually knowing what their money was paying for until Ben opened it that night!
The disc was presented to Ben by site owner, Glenn Nash, as a thank you to Ben for all he has given us. Through his music, Ben has lifted our spirits, put smiles on our faces and a spring in our steps, but most of all he has brought us together and created friendships destined to last for many years to come.
The inscription on the plaque reads:
"Presented to Ben Mills in recognition of his talent as a Singer, Songwriter & Musician.
With Love, Best Wishes & Admiration from everybody at BenMillsOnline"
This wonderful gift was custom made by The Gold Disc Company and we would like to say thank you to Dave Breese at Gold Disc for the quick turn-around.
Thanks also go to Paul Brown, the manager of PizzaExpress, for allowing us the use of the Corn Walliss room to make this presentation.
Finally, a very special thank you to Ben and his tour manager, Mark, for yet again giving up some of their free time especially for us.
